  1. Can we count to 50 before a Mod posts?

    Nein. heheheh Back to zero.
  2. It's the same here. Kathy Gifford was on Megyn Kelly's show and made it clear that she and her family were saved as a result of Graham's ministry. I didn't listen to the clip, but apparently she made salvation clear. But then there was the leftist woman who said she hoped Graham would burn in Hell for being against abortion. I know of a number of preachers who preach in prisons. I don't know if they are classed as chaplains or not. But at least they can get in there and preach.
  3. Whats for Supper...

What sort of flavor does it impart?
  4. Whats for Supper...

I have had garlic in my mashed potatoes, but I've never had saffron in anything. I've heard it's very tasty as long as it's not overdone.
  5. Whats for Supper...

Well, I'm not feeling well. So the menu for tonight has been bumped to tomorrow night. Tonight there will be soup. A good meal on a snowy, cold day.
  6. Whats for Supper...

We'll be having meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggies, salad
  7. The beauty of creation

    Let's stay on topic. Thanks.
  8. I hope he can get his job back...and then I hope he's safe while there!
  9. I have often wondered where this was ....

    Who knew?
  10. Whats for Supper...

We had hamburgers for supper. With salad and veggies. Avocados were ready so we had some of that, too. Delicious.
  11. Whats for Supper...

Tonight the menu includes leftover cube steak with potatoes. I'm probably going to have a sausage croissant.
  12. Missionaries

Dave, that's wonderful! We have always loved seeing/hearing from the missionaries our church supported. And we have always enjoyed missionaries coming through and presenting their burden and their field. Our church currently does not support any missionaries on a regular basis. The members had sent a certain amount yearly or twice yearly to 4 different ones, which was great. But now we need to seriously be looking at supporting missionaries on a regular basis. Our first missionary family is scheduled to visit on July 1. It just so happens that the family are good friends of ours (my hubs and the man went to college together). They are actually on furlough. The church is excited about hosting them and having them present their ministry. Who knows, they may be the first missionaries we officially support. What a blessing to be able to do so!
  13. Whats for Supper...

Ugh - back when we had our first garden, the first product was lettuce. We were so excited about having fresh salad. I loved it...until I found HALF a cabbage worm in my half-eaten salad. Yes. Half. That was over 40 years ago and I STILL get sickish thinking about where the other half of the worm went... Tonight we had chicken, potatoes, veggies, salad (with NO cabbage worms).
  14. Whats for Supper...

We're just picking tonight (sandwich/salad for me, soup/salad/sandwich for my hubs). Even though it isn't supper, I'm looking forward to breakfast tomorrow. Or brunch, actually. The men of our church are cooking breakfast for we ladies. I have no idea what we're going to have, but I know it's going to be tasty.
  15. Whats for Supper...

We had fried chicken, baked potato, veggies, and salad tonight.
