  5. Please Explain Why Apostle Paul Is Misunderstood

paul preached a different gospel then jesus, paul preached the gospel of the grace of God, Jesus preached, for the most part the gospel of the kingdom, Peter preached in the early book of acts a continuance of the gospel of the kingdom. matt 4:17,23,matt 10:5-8....acts 28:31, rom 2:16, eph 3:2:3-5, col 1:26 in 2 peter 3:16... peter is actually acknowledging pauls authority (and being humble at that), because paul was given the revelation, and the doctrine for the church age...peter was preaching to the jews, until they finally regected God the holy ghost then, the Lord raised up paul immediately after... please read on and see for your self... here is a sample of a book i will direct you to that you might study and understand the "why's" that connect the dots i will not spend the time outlining a typing things that others have already put together, and have done a better job then me [In Matt. 13 Jesus warns his audience that the Kingdom of Heaven is going to assume a "mystery" form. What follows is a series of teachings on moral relationships as they will affect the coming literal, visible, earthly kingdom. Notice that in these seven parables, the outstanding consideration is not the political line of power which was given to an earthly king over David's kingdom, but rather the moral responsibilities and moral requirements of the people who think they are going to get into the kingdom! (See Matt. 13:15,19,22,37-41,49; 18:23,28,30,33,34; 20:13,15; 22:6,8,13; 25:12,23,26,30,40,41,46). This mystery teaching came on the heels of Christ's official rejection (Matt. 12) after which Jesus promptly went "out of the house" (Matt. 13:1). Keep in mind the Jews were never rebuked for not expecting the kingdom. (See Acts 1). Those who crucified Christ were even given a chance to accept a different kingdom after they crucified Him, in lieu of the indefinite time which would precede the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven which they had been looking for (Acts 3:19-26; 3:17; Lk. 23:24; I Cor. 2:7-8). "You see, the leaders of Israel had made a mistake in 33 A.D. as great as their Roman Catholic successors did in 325 A.D. and 1963 A.D. They made the mistake of thinking that all they needed was a leader "like all the nations "round about them." This is the same mistake they had made 1000 years earlier, in (I Sam. 8:5,20). It is the mistake that Germany made in 1930-1945. It is the same mistake that any and every individual and nation makes when they think that any kingdom on earth can be BROUGHT IN without the restoration of the original image of God. This image was God's own Son (2 Cor. 4:4), and the only way on earth that men can receive this image is to be "born again" as Jesus Christ was born by the Holy Spirit (see Jn. 1:11,12). Christ could produce His image in no one without dying first (Jn. 12:24), for how could a sinless, Holy Spirit enter into fallen, sinful Man on even speaking terms till at least ONE man had lived a sinless, Holy life? (Rom. 3:24-26). The sinless, Man is present in (Matt. 13). The Holy life is there. The King is there; both Kingdoms are at hand, and just when it looks like things are going to come to a happy ending, Jesus warns that the physical, literal, earthly, visible Kingdom of Heaven is going into a stage where it will not be discernible to the Jew, and that until it becomes discernible (Lk. 19:11) the Jew will have only the Kingdom of GOD with which to deal (Lk. 17:20). There are two responses to this warning; the Nation of Israel stumbles at the parables, thinking that no holy, moral Kingdom has to accompany the expected Kingdom of Heaven; the Gentiles (in the church-age which follows) go back to these parables to prove that the Kingdom of Heaven came automatically with the Kingdom of GOD, and that it is not "spreading" without the restoration and preeminence of the nation to whom it was given!! Matthew 13 is the place for all Bible-rejecting Jews and Gentiles - who profess to believe the Bible - to develop a theological psychosis; they all do!" ]
  6. Please Explain Why Apostle Paul Is Misunderstood

John anwsered perfectly I will add that this is coming from a gnostic that is trying to decive you the next thing you will here ablut is the gospel of judas, or barnabas, and claims of them haveing the real teachings or christ which is just more lies...these lies are proceeding from Gnosticism
  7. An Appointed Time?

i would say it is a general statement, as john has said... Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. James 4:13-14 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. also in a closer look in context i believe i have seen something that i will pray and look into closer in the near future in context it appears, that it is a general statement (an earthly thing to teach us an heavenly thing) that it is showing that Jesus tasted death and was sinless, found righteous (or fulfilled righteousness), there by able to impute righteousness unto others... it seems to have a relation with the fact that he was not as the Levitical priests that could die and no longer offer any sacrifices at all, but he offered once and for all and is returning again...Heb 9:22-10:22... any thoughts ?? none the lest it is and excellent street preaching verse !
  8. 1 John 2:15, 16

Prov. 18:1-2 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. A book could be easly writen on this subject, but i believe the above scriptures cover it pretty well... It is the image, spirit, wisdom and understanding, of the world that we must seperate from, tbat we may run that we may attain.... The differance is in the heart of the indevidual, is he carnally minded or spiritually is hard to find those that answer the call to be a soilder, and with singleness of heart strive for the objective, (exspeiclely in the laodician church age) most are like the church in wilderness they want to rasenallize things in " thier own under standing" and " compare them selfves among them selves" but every once in a wial you find a joshua or a caleb that have a differant spirit about them... 1 cor 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. Phi 3:14-15 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. --from my observations if a man has been under sound hard preaching for 3-5 years and has not fallen in love with the objective, he will not "understand" these things and his heart will decieve him into. Leaning on his own understanding... this is be cause he is carnally minded. / not spiritually minded " rom 8" Phi 3: 16-21Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. -- paul is our exalmple, of how to be a living sacerfice ( be not conformed into the image of this world) Phi 3: 18-21 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Concerning the world and love of God... let us concider the next few verse john 17 :14-21, psalm 22:31, john14:31, 2 cor 6:1 i will. Be preaching on this tomarrow night.. we are to stand aganst the world by the word of G od just like jesus did and paul is our example of how to be a living sacerfice...i som how just can not seea paul at the sports game, or watching a movie with the family, it seems like he was seperated from the world, and some wold call that extreme, but i would like to say * Why shouldn' t we be a peculiar people, jesus was... Arise and let us go hense [singing] the world behind me the cross before me, the world behind me the cross before me, no turning back, no turning back... Just a few thoughts from a man that chose to be spiritually minded
  9. How Would You Reply To This Statement.

Entertainment, Hollywood, t.v., ungodly music, whoring around on the internet...ect...ect... "The unfruitfulworks of darness" have been molesting our youth from the time that them can see and understand.... this is the great molester of our children & of the church, in these days.. psalm 119:37. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. 2 cor 7: 1. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. * are you alowing the prince of the power of the air to molest your children, and did you teach them how to justify this iniquity? * do you contenue to participate in spiritual molestation, and did you teach your children to love the same. ? -- if it is not in all "goodness, righteousness, and truth" it is and unfruitful work of darkness, do we not realize that the dead are there and thier quests are of the depts of hell.... Phi 3:20.... our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

  11. Requirement For Salvation?

i did not read all the posts but i will answer the question because... (1) if he was not the Son of God then he was just a prophet of some type, or an ascended master as the Gnostic's like to say John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (2) the resurection authenticates the name of Jesus Romans 1:2-4 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: Ecclesiastes 8:8 There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it. Romans 6:9-10 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. (3) here is a logic chain of the name of God, shewing that the name of Jesus is the foundation of N.T. faith, and that the resurrection authentacated it A logic chain From the WORD OF GOD the king James bible I. Creator account authenticated by God, exo 3:1-15 * giving Moses his name I AM THAT I AM * I am declaring that he is God and there is none else, no beginning no end, the Alpha and the omega the * beginning and the end I AM THAT I AM * Became bases for Israel believing Moses to take them out of Egypt II. Once out of Egypt Israel authenticated God’s name exo 3:19-22, exo 14:30-31, exo 15:1-22, exo 29:46, · * Shewed him self God by exerting his power to bring his word to pass III. By God’s name authenticated, the law can be established exo 24:12-18 IV. The prophets based there prophecies on the law of God luke 24:25-27, 2 peter 1:19-21, duet 18:15-22 V. Fulfilled prophecy authenticates the law is 42:9 VI. Jesus resurrection is based on the law and the prophets it fulfilled the law & established N.T. faith * the name of Jesus is the foundation of N.T. faith rom 1:2-6, 1st john 5:11-13, rom 10:13 1st John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ… i hope this is a help and a blessing
  12. Is Repentance The Same As Faith?

ok so lets say this man has repented, by your def. he admits something he already knows, which is he is a sinner, and this is a change of heart he now can confess his sins to God, because he is in agreement with him [ this is what you have said right ] that he is a sinner, and now there is salvation for him because he has something to repent of now my question * dose he have to confess his sins in order to be saved ? * if so what Emphasis do you put on this and why ? * is there any thing else he must do in order to be saved, according to your bible understanding ?
  13. Is Repentance The Same As Faith?

yes the world dose view repentance in this way, and sad to say many preachers preach it to them this way (but they think they don't), now the church is who this repentance should be preached to, and if the church would repent, would we not soon see revival ?
  14. Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

  15. Is Repentance The Same As Faith?

first i will say i agree completely, my question is : on the first quote what brings you to divide a sharp line in the fact of the repentance to the jews and the faith to the gentiles ? is it just because the sequence in which it is written... repentance/jews faith/gentiles... or do you have a scripture on scripture, ref. that you are going by, i can not see clearly how this sharp of a line can be drawn in the middle of this verse, at this point in the book of acts scripture to support the 2nd quote acts 2 v.s. 14 context Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem v.s. 22 context Ye men of Israel, hear these words v.s. 36 context Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. v.s. 37-40 Acts 2:37-40 Now when they heard this, they (jews) were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? (jews)Then Peter said unto them (jews), Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise (the kingdom) is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Save yourselves from this untoward generation. at this time a continuance of the gospel of the kingdom was being preached, and i believe he was speaking of the matthew 25 judgement...for the children of isreal had said "let his blood be upon us and our children" more over latter on in the apostolic age the gospel of the kingdom is still being preached and isreal is the focus and it is said Acts 5:30-32 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. acts 5:17 --- the high preasts rose up aganst them Acts 7:1 Then said the high priest, Are these things so? } this was isreal's last chance to receive the witness... they then rejected the holy ghost just like they had rejected, the father 1 sam 8:7, and the son mat 23:36-39, luke 19:41-48 so i can see repentance connected with the jews (at this point) , but i can not see the focus on the jews at this latter point in the book of acts how ever i do see repentance not as a turning from sin but as a "by what authority do you attain righteousness" being preached to both jew and greek, in the church age i.e. Romans 10:1-4 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. therefor i see repentance in rom 10:10 Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Ro 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [confession] not of sins but of taking owner ship to Gods righteousness by faith in the name of Jesus, by submitting to it, now one can not submit to God's righteousness unless he repents of his own righteousness (what ever form it is in) i see also repentance represented in act 17 the same way toward some gentiles acts 17:22-29 Acts 17:22-23 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. * worshiping false Gods, to attain false righteousness Acts 17:30-31 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. * is not Paul preaching repentance, not of sin but of religious authority/religious belief ? *and is it not to the gentiles ? *if in acts 20:21 repentance is only being spoken to the jews then why ? in the light of the gospel of the kingdom no longer being preached (rom 2:16) ? for i have no doubt they where being told to repent of there sins (in particular, crucifying Jesus) but later i see repentance preached to both jew and gentile in the form of religious authority and means of justification by God's righteousness
