  1. Thank you! I'm currently reading the debate now. Thanks!
  2. Thank you brothers. I will look more into it. Dave is right, I don't have to understand everything now. But I am grateful for what you posted! I appreciate all your inputs. :)
  3. I've read the book of Revelation and Daniel at least twice before, but I wasn't really able to understand the prophecies therein. I know that the Holy Spirit will guide you of all truth but I don't really know how to understand it. I can read some opinions from other Christians but how will I know if they are right? How were you guys able to finally understand those books?
  4. I know the answer to this. But I still wonder. God let man fall and sin to enter the world so He could show how gracious He is. That He is mighty to save. But I still wonder and question why God would let us do stupid things and make mistakes. How I wish that my flesh isn't corrupted and that all my choices in life are good ones. How I long to that day when we don't "get" to sin anymore or make bad choices. I would appreciate any inputs from you all. :)
  5. Yeah. But then again, even if you can put notes on apps, it's so much easier to just write on your bible's margin space. HEHEHE.
  6. I have a printed Bible (it has a pink cover! Hehe), a bible app on my phone and I used to have a bible software on my laptop. (I had to reformat my laptop and haven't installed softwares yet.) Like many, I memorize verses by their "position" in the bible. I can recall from memory that it's in the top left corner of the page for example. That's why i prefer printed one. Also, I can write stuff in the margin. My bible is full of colors of different colored pen. Also printed bibles are easier to eyes. Also sometimes bible apps crash!! Not good!
  7. Thanks for posting this!
  8. Praying!
  9. Oh they are far from me. I was able to find a good church (doctrinal statement-wise). But I find the preaching not so good. By that I mean, it was always about preaching and the pastor's life experience instead of God's word. Somehow I feel they focus on God's material blessings too. Thanks Alan! I am excited to be in fellowship with all of you as well! Hi! Where in Taguig? I live in Rizal. I can go there maybe it'll take me 1.5 to 2 hours of travel. Thank you!
  10. Hi 1611mac, I actually don't. I stopped going to church for a while. I used to attend this bible baptist church. The doctrinal statement of the church was okay. But sunday's sermons were somehow always about tithes or about the pastor's experiences. I've grown cold there and I believe that's one of the reasons I kind of "got tired". I felt like I was alone. Like no one understood me. People thought I was too radical. I'm not justifying my rebellion/falling away. It's my mistake. But right now, I long for the peace and the fellowship with God. I just attended a church. It's not baptist church. It's quite an evangelical mega church. I'm there for the small groups only to be honest.
  11. Hi! I'm Celina and I'm back! I joined the forum back in 2012. And I remembered being part of this forum and decided to come back. Things have been rocky. God is gracious enough to welcome me back into the flock. I have backslidden and lived a life not glorfying God. Realized how i messed my life, I run back to the Father. I want to seek God again and have the same passion I did when I first got converted. Thanks for reading. May God bless you.
  12. I joined back in 2012 now I'm back!

  14. Yep! Let God be true and every man a liar.
  15. Have you thanked the Lord for what you have today? And not for what He may give you tomorrow?
