  1. I have a printed Bible (it has a pink cover! Hehe), a bible app on my phone and I used to have a bible software on my laptop. (I had to reformat my laptop and haven't installed softwares yet.) Like many, I memorize verses by their "position" in the bible. I can recall from memory that it's in the top left corner of the page for example. That's why i prefer printed one. Also, I can write stuff in the margin. My bible is full of colors of different colored pen. Also printed bibles are easier to eyes. Also sometimes bible apps crash!! Not good!
  2. Thanks for posting this!
  3. Praying!
  4. Oh they are far from me. I was able to find a good church (doctrinal statement-wise). But I find the preaching not so good. By that I mean, it was always about preaching and the pastor's life experience instead of God's word. Somehow I feel they focus on God's material blessings too. Thanks Alan! I am excited to be in fellowship with all of you as well! Hi! Where in Taguig? I live in Rizal. I can go there maybe it'll take me 1.5 to 2 hours of travel. Thank you!
  5. Hi 1611mac, I actually don't. I stopped going to church for a while. I used to attend this bible baptist church. The doctrinal statement of the church was okay. But sunday's sermons were somehow always about tithes or about the pastor's experiences. I've grown cold there and I believe that's one of the reasons I kind of "got tired". I felt like I was alone. Like no one understood me. People thought I was too radical. I'm not justifying my rebellion/falling away. It's my mistake. But right now, I long for the peace and the fellowship with God. I just attended a church. It's not baptist church. It's quite an evangelical mega church. I'm there for the small groups only to be honest.
  6. Hi! I'm Celina and I'm back! I joined the forum back in 2012. And I remembered being part of this forum and decided to come back. Things have been rocky. God is gracious enough to welcome me back into the flock. I have backslidden and lived a life not glorfying God. Realized how i messed my life, I run back to the Father. I want to seek God again and have the same passion I did when I first got converted. Thanks for reading. May God bless you.
  7. I joined back in 2012 now I'm back!

May the Lord richly bless you. Alan and the Mrs.

  8. I really love this passage. Exodus 33:12-23..... Just how He loves us.

  9. Yep! Let God be true and every man a liar.
  10. Have you thanked the Lord for what you have today? And not for what He may give you tomorrow?

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:" Psalm 103:1-2

Psalm 103 : 3 - 5 "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's". Bless the Lord God Oh my Soul, Praise His Name!

  11. Hi! Before the rapture, the church shall be amidst apostasy right? How can there be revival? But I agree, nothing is impossible.
  12. Hello! Oh I am glad you want to know and learn! I pray that God help you as you seek to know the truth!
  13. Hello y'all! I'm back. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me. I have not been very active as much as I'd like to. Out of the blue I remembered about the forum and felt like visiting, but I forgot my username and/or password. [which was solved now.] I see a lot "new and hot" debatable topics as I opened my account. I pray that people here will not just express their own opinions but rely solely on God's word. It's nice to be back here. Celina
  14. if you are in a bible course...can your lessons there be your guideline for bible study and then do a separate plan for bible reading? Or how do you separate your time for bible study and reading and what are your habits?
  15. But is that a right of pastors? I mean, if they pursue that a new member be rebaptized even if he was baptized before.. Because it will seems as if it depends on the "PASTOR" now if he will be rebaptized or not.. Don't you think? That just my opinion....
