None of these people follow the law. If they did they'd perform the sacrifices which was part of the law. None of them do. It would be hard too since there's no temple.

Not to brag but I've been warning people about this for years. Sadly most Americans won't care. Or as some liberal said to my brother, "we had our time, it's their time to rule the world now".

CHINA POISED TO PLAY DEBT CARD – FOR U.S. LAND
Communist nation could control American land as 'development zones'
    by JEROME R. CORSI

EDITOR’S NOTE: Barack Obama’s involvement in the DeMar Second Amendment case was previously reported in Chapter 7 of Jerome R. Corsi’s “America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty.”

NEW YORK – Could real estate on American soil owned by China be set up as “development zones” in which the communist nation could establish Chinese-owned businesses and bring in its citizens to the U.S. to work?

That’s part of an evolving proposal Beijing has been developing quietly since 2009 to convert more than $1 trillion of U.S debt it owns into equity.
Under the plan, China would own U.S. businesses, U.S. infrastructure and U.S. high-value land, all with a U.S. government guarantee against loss.
Yu Qiao, a professor of economics in the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsighua University in Beijing, proposed in 2009 a plan for the U.S. government to guarantee foreign investments in the United States.
WND has reliable information that the Bank of China, China’s central bank, has continued to advance the plan to convert China’s holdings of U.S. debt into equity owned by China in the U.S.
The Obama administration, under the plan, would grant a financial guarantee as an inducement for China to convert U.S. debt into Chinese direct equity investment. China would take ownership of successful U.S. corporations, potentially profitable infrastructure projects and high-value U.S. real estate.

The plan would be designed to induce China to resume lending to the U.S. on a nearly zero-interest basis.
However, converting Chinese debt to equity investments in the United States could easily add another $1 trillion to outstanding Obama administration guarantees issued in the current economic crisis.
As of November 2012, China owned $1.17 trillion in U.S. Treasury securities, according to U.S. Department of Treasury and Federal Reserve Board calculations published Jan. 16.
Concerned about the unrestrained growth in U.S. debt under the Obama administration, China has reduced by 97 percent its holdings in short-term U.S. Treasury bills. China’s holding of $573.7 billion in August 2008, prior to the massive bank bailouts and stimulus programs triggered by the collapse in the U.S. mortgage market, dwindled to $5.96 billion by March 2011.
Treasury bills are short-term debt that matures in one year or less, sold to finance U.S. debt. Holdings of Treasury bills are included in the $1.17 trillion of total Treasury securities owned by China as of November 2012.
In addition to a national debt in excess of $16 trillion, the U.S. government in 2010 faced over $70 trillion in unfunded obligations, including Social Security and Medicare benefits scheduled to be paid retiring baby boomer retirees in the coming decades, with unfunded obligations showing no sign of being reduced with Congress at a deadlock over reducing federal government spending.
Yu Qiao observed that if the U.S. dollar collapsed under the weight of proposed Obama administration trillion-dollar budget deficits into the foreseeable future, holders of U.S. debt would face substantial losses that the Financial Times estimated “would devastate Asians’ hard-earned wealth and terminate economic globalization.”
“The basic idea is to turn Asian savings, China’s in particular, into real business interests rather than let them be used to support U.S. over-consumption,” Yu Qiao wrote, reflecting themes commonly suggested by Chinese government officials. “While fixed-income securities are vulnerable to any fall in the value of the dollar, equity claims on sound corporations and infrastructure projects are at less risk from a currency default,” he continued.
The problem is that, in a struggling U.S. economy, China does not want to trade its investment in U.S. Treasury debt securities, with their inherent risk of dollar devaluation, for equally risky investments in U.S. corporations and infrastructure projects.
“But Asians do not want to bear the risk of this investment because of market turbulence and a lack of knowledge of cultural, legal and regulatory issues in U.S. businesses,” he stressed. “However if a guarantee scheme were created, Asian savers could be willing to invest directly in capital-hungry U.S. industries.”
Yu Qiao’s plan included four components:
China would negotiate with the U.S. government to create a “crisis relief facility,” or CRF. The CRF “would be used alongside U.S. federal efforts to stabilize the banking system and to invest in capital-intensive infrastructure projects such as high-speed railroad from Boston to Washington, D.C. China would pool a portion of its holdings of Treasury bonds under the CFR umbrella to convert sovereign debt into equity. Any CFR funds that were designated for investment in U.S. corporations would still be owned and managed by U.S. equity holders, with the Asians holding minority equity shares “that would, like preferred stock, be convertible.” The U.S. government would act as a guarantor, “providing a sovereign guarantee scheme to assure the investment principal of the CRF against possible default of targeted companies or projects”. The Federal Reserve would set up a special account to supply the liquidity the CRF would require to swap sovereign debt into industrial investment in the United States. “The CRF would lessen Asians’ concern about implicit default of sovereign debts caused by a collapsing dollar,” Yu Qiao concluded. “It would cost little and help the U.S. by channeling funds to business investment.”

Being harsh, blunt or rebuking false teachings is not a personal attack. I haven't seen too many personal attacks other than an occasional charge against someone's character in handling scripture which personal I don't care about. Just don't say anything about my mother!

I don't believe anyone in here hates anyone else. Maybe a little put off or frustrated, but no hatred. Paul turned people over to Satan for teaching heresies. How's that for love? (Not suggesting anyone in this forum should be turned over to Satan.)

    Covenanter,
the only prOBlem with your nice little treatise here is those pesky little words in the Holy Bible.  Israel is NOT enjoying peace right now.  Israel is NOT the head of the Nations.  Christ is NOT reigning from Jerusalem.  Isaiah 11 has NOT come to pass, with a regenerated animal kingdom that lives in peace with each other, as it was in the Garden of Eden.  The promises of Scripture are that Jesus Christ would return to this earth PHYSICALLY, and reign over the entire planet with "a rod of iron."  Revelation 20 specifically states that this reign would last for 1,000 years - and it says that SIX TIMES.
I don't know about you, but I think that the Lord is not a liar, and that the Lord says what He means, and means what He says.  So if the Lord says that Christ will return to the earth and reign over a kingdom on this earth PHYSICALLY for 1,000 years prior to the NH&NE....well, I kinda think that He meant what He said, and that it will  come to pass literally...just like He said.  Anything less than a literal fulfillment of the words in Revelation 20 makes God a liar.

We are right back to the same old prOBlem.  I believe that every single word of Scripture is true, and we cannot change one word to fit our theology.  Your system is constantly overlooking words, redefining words, or simply ignoring the plain meaning of the words.

Just because Peter quotes the OT in Acts 2 and Acts 3 does not mean that those verses literally came to pass - they OBviously did NOT.  They were expecting Christ to return to the EARTH - as promised by the angels in Acts 1!  Did Christ return to the earth? NOT YET.  And until Christ returns to the earth, there remains a ton of prophecies to be fulfilled.

This is why right division is needed between Israel and the church, and then which church the Israel church or the Body of Christ church (they are different).  then between OT completion of God's scattering of Israel and bringing her back in to be at peace forever (never took place yet even after they came back as prophesied by Jeremiah and others).  Today Israel is set aside but when the body of Christ is gathered together with Christ in the clouds then Israel wont be set aside anymore.  then God will scatter them (that is why they are back in the land since 1948) and then he will come establish the kingdom (rev19) and call for the regathering of Israel into her land (OT prophets all spoke of this) where Israel shall serve God for ever from Jerusalem.    right division is a key to rightly understanding OT and NT prophecy.  the lack of division willblenditalltogether so you can't rightly understand and cause division on men over pre/post/a Millennial stands.

Right division leave you to only one conclusion the right one and the one held by Paul and the early church pre-trib/pre-wrath removal of the body of Christ and God finishing his work with Israel and unbelieving mankind.

There is more than one "rapture."  That is where the "confusion" comes in, but only when we fail to "rightly divide."  The raptures spoken of in the Gospels have nothing to do with the rapture of the church spoken of in I Thess. 4:13-18 - they are two separate events.
The reaping performed by the Lord in Revelation 14 is a "rapture" of the Tribulation saints, caught out just prior to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.  There is in fact a "pre-wrath" rapture - but that rapture is not the church, but Tribulation saints.

We are to teach sound doctrine, and especially in the last days when many will fall away from sound doctrine.
The LOCAL CHURCH is to be unified in their doctrine and ministry, but the Body of Christ will never be unified until the return of Jesus Christ.

I could almost believe you if you participated in other discussions.  Since the only thing you want to discuss is eschatology, then it is apparent that you have an agenda.  You apparently think that having a pleasant demeanor must mean something, but this is only a personality trait, and not necessarily a sign of spirituality.  A pastor must defend the flock from wolves so a pastor's demeanor is not always "pleasant."  It is apparent to me that the only reason you hang out here is to promote your preterist views, and you insist upon dominating any thread concerning end times events.

It is really too bad that an Independent Baptist Forum that takes a pre-trib position is so dominated by those who are opposed to that position.  It is so nauseating to me that it takes away the pleasure of posting here.

The whole prOBlem as I see it is the refusal to recognize Israel's proper place in the future plan of God. Whatever position you hold on the nation of Israel will be reflected in your eschatology. A lot of this is really a heart issue toward the Jews.

If you see the end of Israel in 70 AD and all her promises being sifted to the chuch then you will be a preterist/amillennialist. (The olive tree was chopped down, cast into the fire and a new tree planted.)

If you believe that God does have some future with Israel but you still fail to distinguish between them and the church then most likely you will hold a postmillennial/prewrath position. (The olive tree was grafted into the wild branches).

If you believe that God still has a future plan for the nation of Israel in restoring the kingdom to them then you will be a premillenialist. (The wild branches were grafted into the olive tree).

People forget that the bible is a Jewish book and we Gentiles (which the church mostly consists of) were merely grafted into the covenants and promises given to Israel. We weren't granted the license to hijack them.

The proper placement of Israel is mandatory and should be first in foremost when rightly dividing the word of truth. The ONLY exception is in the Pauline epistles. Paul being the apostle to the Gentiles.

Actually there is very little real debate on this forum. There is a lot of arguing but very little debate.

A few years ago the Admin of this site asked for a few volunteers to debate the pre trib rapture doctrine with the stated web sites position as being PRE TRIB.  i guess that has taken a back seat nowadays with post trib moderators and all.

Debate is listening to a point, then responding to the point made. By saying, I think what you said may have certain failing this is why-....
Arguing is not responding to a point made and just continuing with one´s opinion. By saying__________________ and not making any real reply to the point made beforehand.

Not much debating going on around here any more. Just a bunch of shouting each other down and snarky nonsense.
