BioI've lived in Montana all my live with some short vacations to other places. I always end up back in Montana though. It's where my heart is. I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, bicycling in the woods, it's good to be outside.
I am a Baptist, KJV believing Christian.
I have some hobbies, cribbage and Amateur Radio. My call sign is KD7UJR. I am also a member of the ARRL (Amateur Radio Relay League).
InterestsCribbage, Amateur Radio, bicycling, camping, fishing, reading, classical music, opera. I have a lot of interests, not all of which I could mention here, so I'll leave it to come up in conversation.
Is it not reasonable to say that we can only vote for whoever is on the ballot? Write-ins chances of getting elected are astronomical, impossible. Never going to happen. So, when we vote, we only have choices of who is represented on the ticket. I always vote for someone, don't waste my vote on a write-in.
That would be awesome! I'd love to have all my friends riding Harleys to my funeral. Since they'd be celebrating my graduation to heaven, I'd want them lighting off fireworks, playing music, have a regular celebration complete with a large potluck and maybe some karaoke too.
Don't misunderstand me, I do empathize with those that don't vote. I've heard many of their reasons for opting out and a lot of them make sense. It feels like our votes don't count/matter, it is frustrating to see those that are elected destroying the values upon which this country is based. It seems like only the evil candidates win. I completely understand. However, this is the exact reason why we NEED people to vote and stand up for what they believe in.
The only way for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
Those who do not vote have no right to complain about the government. If they are not in the polls, then they are doing nothing to correct the problem and as such, should shut their mouths.
The whole reason we are in this mess is that 90% of those that are able to vote choose not to. If everyone voted that was eligible, this country would see a fundamental change unlike any other this country has ever seen in it's entire history.
22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take [it], and likewise [his] scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here [are] two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
I refuse to lay down and let someone harm me or my family. If it's a sin, so be it, I'm going to protect myself anyway.
Okay, that sounds good. I haven't run across any classical music I do not like. It's all good.
I guess what I'd really like to see is drums used in a spiritual way that is appropriate. In that regard, classical music does not apply. Are there examples out there of Christian music where the drums are okay?
