And the repubs have been certainly watering down the tea party.  :icon_rolleyes:

We hope you'll feel better soon LuAnne.

 

I was a member of those groups for a time.  They were not the least bit concerned about the things of God, only materialism.  Most were politically conservative but socially and theologically liberal.  That made them little different from those that they opposed and I left, choosing instead to spend more time with my local church family, my family and the Lord.

I've encountered the same thing over the years. These groups are filled with people who are overly concerned with money issues, and sometimes one or two pet peeves, but on most other matters they are on the liberal side.
