Try buying avgas (for airplanes).  Auto gas is a pittance.

You have extremely cheap fuel in the US.

With globalism and the world shrinking all prices and wages will tend to level out . . . . then we will all be poor.

The article is referring to a technical malfunction with many fuel pumps.

 

My easy answer:

 

Prepay with cash.

 

The pump will be reset before you pump, so the "pump jump" glitch won't be an issue.

I've noticed this for years.
It bothered me a lot more, when those $ .03 actually gave me a measurable amount of gas.
