You've seen the blasphemous "Tokin' the Ghost" video and were appalled at the idiocy displayed.  In this one, Brandon Barthrop and John Crowder are interviewed concerning the "Drunken Glory" Movement.

Drunken Glory? Sounds like an old Chinese kung fu movie!

As usual, fringe "Christians" get publicity and the enemies of Christ use such to denounce Christianity and attack Christians.

It is totally whacked. In the first few seconds of the video, you see one guy tipping a closed Bible like he is drinking from it.

The reporter who did the video is from England.  She was not impressed.

Yes.  Deception is all over.  LInda and I just watched a video about a guy in Serbia that has thousands of followers who believe him to be Jesus Christ.

Noticed the rock band equipment about 1:18 into the video.

It is my belief that music will be the tie that brings about a one world religion. The reason I say that is from the account in Daniel 3:5-7.

Nations were OBident to the sound of the music.

All I can say from this video is DON"T DRINK THE COOL-AID!!!

I think these are some of the people like in Acts 19:15

Don't play with the Holyness of God Almighty!!!!!

I just started a new Facebook page, "Exposing the One-World Church", and I think this will be an excellent addition to it.

I made it sort of in response to another page called 'Exposing the institutional Church", which is actually an anti-christianity, anti-church page, so I wanted to expose them, and others like them, for what they are. This video will do nicely, I think.

Holy Ghost laughter, Holy Ghost barking, Holy Ghost drunkenness or high...

What Bible version, work of fiction or sorcerers book are they getting this stuff from? It's not in the KJB.

Jesus was snorting frankincense since he was a baby in his crib? Sounds like they're just getting high on items not meant to get high on that are legal, trading one drug for another.

Couldn't make it but a few minutes, might as well be coven of witches talking about Christianity. "positive energy" is definitely the red flag of spiritualism.

Just a side note, I attended Assembly of God churches for years, I never talked in "tongues", got drunk, barked or howled. But I was saved in one. I have had the experience of being "slain in the spirit" after I was saved though. I don't believe in that anymore! but it was definitely the "experience" of it that I wanted when I went there a few times not the preaching. Just the fun stuff. The pastor would speak "prophetic words" about me and my past whom I'd never met him and he was always right. Women would run around perimeter of church with flags "fanning the Spirit" to keep him moving I guess.

I was also saved in an Assembly of God church. At that time the pastor was rather conservative. I never heard anyone speak in tongues, and I've never done so. There wasn't any hollering or running around. I felt comfortable there with how the services were conducted.

That all changed when that pastor moved to Texas and a very Charismatic pastor took over. Not long after he took over he and his wife would speak in tongues. Then others in the congregation started doing that. Then he set up a worship band on the platform and services would start with way to loud music, speaking in tongues, jumping around and that sort of thing. I wasn't comfortable with that so I left.

Most Charismatics and Pentecostals I've known were of a more conservative nature. Those I've encountered who were boisterous and into showy things I've never been able to be around them much. While some of the more conservative ones I know say they sometimes speak in tongues when they pray, none of them have ever tried to say one isn't saved if they don't or tried to push me into becoming a tongue speaker. They are typically appalled by the showy crazy stuff some in their Charismatic or Pentecostal circles are doing because it makes them all look bad and they believe most of it OBviously isn't biblically sound.

I know - that got me! Such idiotic blasphemy.  I don't know. It's just mind-numbingly reprehensible what this nut is pushing.

The sad thing is, the movement is growing.  That John Crowder is a protege of Todd Bentley.  Explains a lot.

The AOG church I was saved in was also conservative, only a few would speak tongues quietly while praying if they did it loudly someone would interpret it. That was 1994 in Panama City, FL right before the Pensacola charismatic church thing that was on the nightly news. The other one I attended was started as a church planted with conservative Pastor, I never heard him speak in tongues, the church started out with just a handful of us but was rapidly growing, when I moved back 12 years later was when the young, hip, rock n roll, jeans cut, t-shirt wearing pastor took over. I attended for about 2 years maybe and quit in disgust when the hip pastor fired the youth pastor because he didn't fit the "look" the new pastor had in mind. Mind you he was only in his 40's and he was wonderful! Brought in A LOT of kids and families. That's basically when anyone over 40 left, who were core members from beginning and went elsewhere. Of course, he's gone now to a different church.

The choice of pastor for a church is so important and can make such a huge difference in a church. I've seen so many churches around here rush to fill a pastor's position only to end up with a pastor that really made a mess of that church. I'm so very thankful that back when our church needed to fill the pastor position they determined to not hire a new pastor until they found the right (biblically sound and who they believed the Lord would have as their pastor) man. The men selected for the board who would interview prospective pastors took over two years and interviewed well over a hundred pastors before the man who is our current senior pastor was interviewed and hired.

It's amazing how some people can come up with crazy and unbiblical ideas, put them forth as fact, build a new preaching paradigm based upon their "new" stuff and they always find many willing to follow them and support their endeavors. Some put forth these ridiculous ideas of things like "Holy Ghost barking or drunkenness" while others declare without any evidence that Jesus was a homosexual (often saying he had relations with the Apostle John) or that Jesus married Mary Magdelene, often with the claim they had children, and of course the idea that God is the father of all humanity and because of that and Him being all love everyone will be go to heaven. Then even more out there are those who claim to be Christ and regardless of the OBvious falsehood of their statement when compared with Scripture, they have followers.

It's so important that we know the truth and share the truth even if folks don't want to hear it.

Yes, it is very important that we know the truth! Many of the modern and New Age persuasions place their emphasis on man, humanism.
The focal point of Christianity is Jesus Christ who is the Truth.

I've never been to a church where folk do that, but I wouldn't mind having such a person for a neighbour if they kept the burglars away.
