Is the DHS going to far?

I don't know how I should react to DHS setting up these checkpoints. Look at the map; do you live close to the orange line?

I live 1/4 mile from the border. My whole state(MI) is "orange" on that map.

If the borders were being properly protected this wouldn't be an issue. If America were not crawling with up to 20 million illegals this would not be an issue. If border agents within that 100 mile zone were ONLY looking for illegals and if they were actually catching and deporting illegals, this would not be an issue.

If mass illegal immigration (invasion) continues, as it's likely to, the point will be moot in a few decades (if that long) when several states become majority Mexican and they either sue for independence or for the right to leave America and be joined to Mexico.
