Do your own computer upgrades and repairs. Adding a stick of RAM is as easy as plugging in a lamp and you can also easily replace things like power supplies, modems, ethernet cards or the CPU(main processor)

If you are going to upgrade your computer, be sure to shop at Newegg and Tigerdirect online. Also shop on eBay. If you have a Frys store near you, it is far better than Best Buy. Best Buy is usually the worst buy.

I buy our meat early in the morning when it is discounted. I haven't done it lately, but I have made baby wipes to save money. My husband uses straight talk for his phone service. He gets unlimited everything for $45 every 30 days. Shop for clothes on clearance. Our Kohls usually has some pretty steep discounts. Also, buy generic when possible. I realize some things aren't as good generic but most are just as good as name brand.
