#378748 Which Comes First, The Messiah Or The Temple? - The Temple Institute

Posted by beameup on 06 July 2014 - 11:35 PM

It would appear that these are the daily sacrifices & oblation (offering) in Dan 9.

Paul went up to Jerusalem and made a vow and offered a sacrifice.

As well, "the twelve" continued in Judaism.  The problem was with

The Atonement (Yom Kippur), which Christ fulfilled.  So it is understandable

that Israel will resume the Temple ceremonies once the Temple is rebuilt.

"The Book of Acts" phase 2.

What's going on Iraq and Syria is a family fight  leading to fulfillment of the prophecy of Psalm 83.

"Islam" will be laid-low... very low.

The Temple was destroyed twice.  Both times it was destroyed on Tisha B'Av (9th of Av).

The Israeli's count Herod's as an embellishment of the Second Temple (Zerubbabel's Temple).

The Third Temple will be built in due time; all the preparations have already been made.

Time is short.

Written in 96 A.D. by John
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying,
Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
Revelation 11:1  This is the Tribulation Temple (ie: 3rd Temple), the one Antichrist "abominates".

Who opposeth and exalteth  himself above all that is called God or worshiped as God

so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God shewing himself that he is God.  2 Thes 2:4

The Pope exalts himself over all that is called God, that he does when he is enthroned on the high altar over what they call god,i.e.the consecrated wafer.  The popes have always claimed to be more powerful than Christ.

2 Thes 2:8-9 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy
with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Clearly this is not "the Pope".  This is the False Christ that deceives the whole world (except the "elect") during the Great Tribulation.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth,

that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  2 Thes 2:10-11

Now those who say that this has already happened are Preterists, which is a "bedfellow" of Replacement Theology.

Is this the Covenant Theology you speak of?

It's Calvinism, much of which is derived from the 4th Century Catholic Church's "Theology".

"Covenant" theology teaches that God has abandoned the promises made to the Jews

and has replaced the Jews with Christians as his chosen people in the earth.

Yes, you are correct.  However, my Rabbi friend is part of the Temple Institute and he keeps me informed on recent events.  He just told me that they are still a bit away from building the Temple.  When I want to know something about Judaism, I go to the Jews for information.  I don't know where you are getting your information from.  If you are reading it on Christian sites, I would caution you on that.  The Torah Observant Jews are a much better source.  That's all I am saying, brother.

It's going to take another Arab-Israeli war, specifically, Psalm 83.  Does he tell you that he knows when another war will start?

BTW, I posted a link of an interview with the head of the Temple Institute.   Here is yet another link from the Temple Institute:

BTW.  There have already been three temples.  Herod's was probably the biggest as the had to build up the temple mount to accommodate it.  The second was the smallest.

There have only been 2 temples.  Herod's was an "embellishment" of Nehemiah's temple.

You need to get up to speed on Judiasm.  Perhaps "covenator" can help you since he

fancies himself as an expert on Judiasm with his "vast understanding" of Hebrews.

"Symbolization" of Scripture is part of 1,500 year old Catholic "Replacement Theology".

Catholic doctrine is that all of Revelation is "symbolic".  This doctrine started with

Origen of Alexandria (185-254 A.D.).  Remnants of Catholic Replacement Theology

teachings are found throughout Protestantism... yes even among some "IFB".

Israeli institute prepares priests for Jerusalem's third temple

On April 10, 2014 at 5 p.m., hundreds of Jews will gather at the Maimonides rabbinical institution plaza in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem and start learning the Jewish laws of Passover.

Rabbis and experts, including Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the head of the Temple Institute in the Old City of Jerusalem, the leading body preparing for the establishment of the third temple,

will teach the audience the laws of the Passover sacrifice. Alongside Ariel, the ritual slaughterer (shohet) Rabbi Yehudah Giatt will teach the audience about the unique elements

of the slaughter of the Passover sacrifice. After the lessons, the real thing will start: the simulation of the Passover sacrifice.

Just a few steps away from the western wall, rabbis and craftsmen are building what they call a "temple in waiting."

Chaim Richman is a director at the Temple Institute in Jerusalem.

"The Temple Institute is actively engaged in the research and preparation of the resumption of service in the holy temple to the extent

of actually preparing operational blueprints for the construction of the temple according to the most modern standards," he said.

Piece by piece, the third temple is taking shape, with priest's garments, vessels of copper, gold, and silver, and a new generation of levite priests specially trained for temple service.

"We have enough in place now to resume divine service and to build the temple," Richman said. "But obviously, a lot of things have to happen in order for this to happen."  excerpt

I think it serves a purpose, and is instructional, to debate how pervasive 1,500 year-old

Catholic "Replacement Theology" doctrine is ingrained... even among "Baptists".
