In Topic: Where Is My...

Swathdiver got it all wrong.  The first one shorted after it was used outside for the Christmas lights.  Well with this one, he was ready to run out and buy a new one, so I asked "let me get home and take a quick look around before you get another one".  Came home through the garage, took one look around and Wha la!  It was right on top of the table in the garage.  Now if I only I could bottle my ability to find everything he can't!

In Topic: My Painful Tension Headaches...

10 December 2013 - 09:53 AM

Since 2001, I have had horrible tension headaches on and off. They have grown worse over the past two years. I am trying not to take acetaminophen, as it is harsh on the liver. Well, yesterday, while driving home from doing my grocery shopping, I got another horrible one. I woke up this morning with this pounding headache, which start in the mid-section of my back, with burning, and roll up over my head. This is typical with my headaches. They give me naseau and the pain is terrible. I am sick of them b/c they have lasted so long. Anyway, I am not sure that I can even make church today b/c of this bowling ball heachache. And, I need church. Your prayers and any suggestions on how to eliminate them, with natural herbs, or specific vitamins would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a migraine. Sorry I don't have herbal or natural suggestions but I have suffered from migraines most of my life and Imitrex has helped a great deal where I can take the medication and still function. Not like some of the others where I could only take them if I was home. Praying for relief and comfort.

I do have to say that a great plate of biscuits and gravy would work for me too!

LUNCH TIME.....  :clapping:

Ok. so let's see...Arroz blanco (white rice), habichuela rojas (red kidney beans), carne guisada (beef stew), tostones (fried green plantains) y platano maduros  (sweet plantains).  All items I have cooked for Swathdiver!  Now let;s see the Pernil, Arroz con Gandules y Pasteles...you know...all the good food for Noche Buena!  Hope you enjoyed your lunch!!! This must be lunch because the portions my grandmother used to serve me was three times the amount!! LOL

That didn't post correctly...sorry. I was attempting to respond to Candlelight's unnecessary comment.
