Online Baptist

Things have been busy for us so I apologize for the lack of any updates for my ministry and for Online Baptist. As far as the ministry goes, things were slow around the holidays but are picking up. We did not get to travel too far away from home the last couple of months, as I think the farther we traveled was around 400 miles away. I did get an unexpected preaching opportunity. I went to hear my father preach in a church that he has never been before, and when I arrived at the church I got a phone call from my dad telling me that he got lost. Since he wasn't going to make it for the Sunday School service the pastor asked me to fill in. Just to give an overall summary, the Lord has been great to us and we have seen souls saved in the last month.

Nothing new to report about Online Baptist. I just gave the directory an overhaul. Now churches/websites can add a location so a Google map will now appear on their listings page. You see what I mean by clicking the following link for my Home church.

The blogs here are slowly getting upgraded as well. A RSS reader, topic ratings, and many other things were added. Soon members will be able to choose which style they want to use on the their blog page. Since I am not the one developing this, I am at his mercy, but he is doing a good job with this modification. Once he finishes it, I can then start making modifications that he did not include.

I guess that is all for now, we are getting ready for our meeting over in the Buffalo NY area, so please pray for us. I know what you are thinking, Buffalo? in February? Hey, I take what the Lord gives me.

Another OB update, the directory listing is now tied into the same database as the forums.
