Hopefully if will give some of you an insight of what goes on behind the scenes here at Online Baptist. Being an admin here has its ups and downs, but the ups are way better than the downs.
I have gotten to know quite a few people and hopefully one day I will meet may of them here on earth before we get to heaven. Also this blog will serve as a personal blog. :tum Hope you enjoy my boring life.

I am a little confused. :puzzled: Most blogs permit the blogger to make multiple posts, and readers can post comments or do trackbacks, which means do a post on their blog, linking to the other blog with a "permalink" which is a fixed URL for that post, and his trackback becomes a comment letting readers go to his blog to see his thoughts. Most "blogs" also provide a mechanism (themes, templates, skinsm or whatever you call them) to control the "look and feel" of his blog, and personalize it to his own taste.

My first blog post was here and my second was here. It looks to me like OB has one blog, and that people authorized to post are posting on that blog, but each post is called a blog. It is your system, and I respect your right to call it whatever you want, but the name blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

To me this more like an unstructured phpBB forum (the editor is almost identical) than a blog. I hope you are not offended by this analysis. It may be exactly what you are looking for. :ears:

Hi there brother. I finely found out how to answer a blog. Kindof like talking to someone else other than myself. I do a lot of traveling so if I knew where you were, I might pop in sometime. Wow did you see those milk prices? Now you know how it feels to be Canadian. Did you know our gas here in Sault Ste. Marie is $4.56 a gal. A doz. eggs cost $2.29 kind of makes you feel like your buying the farm. Well the LORD bless and talk at you later.

I think you are confused, blogs are done in chronological order.
Why would the editor be any different? You looking for a WYSIWYG editor? If so, those are ugly, bulky, and very slow. BBcodes do the exact same thing. Why reinvent the wheel?
According to the dictionary definition of a blog, this fits. :lol
Yes, everyone has their own blog page, not sure why you think differently.
You need to remember that this blog is and extension of the forums, so it will have the same feel, but it functions differently.

Looks like a great addition to these boards! Took me long enough to figure out how to start my own here though - until I went to the portal and saw your post about it. Let's see how these go.
