What a great time of rejoicing it was at Grace Bible Baptist Church in New Bedford, Ma. I'm not sure the exact number, but around 20 came forward and received Christ during the invitation time. This was another special occasion for me as my father and I preached back to back with some special music mixed in-between. Pastor Mendes (Pictured Below) has a great burden for the lost souls, and you are not around him long before you realize it. Pastor Mendes was giving away a free Thanksgiving Dinner, many came for a meal to fill their stomachs, and they left with a eternal decision that will never grow old. From what I am told this church has met in a store-front for many years and God now blessed the work with a beautiful New England church building. |
