Well, I just got back from music camp...I sure do miss... ... ... uh, it.
Here are a couple of the new songs that blessed me:
The Spotless Lamb by Abe Prevette:
1. Glory to the Name of Jesus Christ the Saviour; He is spotless and He's pure (what a Saviour). Precious blood He gave upon the cross of Calv'ry, what a precious Friend is He (what a Friend is He)!
Chorus: Praise to Him who loved us and washed us from our sins. His own precious blood made us clean deep within; Oh, the spotless Lamb, we will praise and adore; Unto Him be glory now, and forevermore!
2. There's no other dearer, and there's none who's nearer, Jesus is the only cure (what a Saviour). Glory and dominion to the Lamb of Calv'ry, What a Friend is He (what a friend is He)!
(Chorus)
Coda: May the church be spotless, no blemish to be found; Praise the Lamb, for we are washed in the blood of the Lamb (spotless Lamb)!
Our Father's Land by Phillip (Dale) Garrison:
1. Our fathers settled this land of ours from sea to shining sea. They believed it was a gift of God, a place where men could be free. They founded a nation on His Word and swore allegiance to Him, But somehow, somewhere along the way we've allowed the light to grow dim.
Chorus: This is (Yes, this is) our Father's land. Oh, let (Oh, let) us take a stand, And claim (Yes, reclaim) it back again and God will surely restore; He loves ev'ry one of us, we say (Oh, yes, we say) in Him we trust, We must right now turn away from sin and reclaim our nation once more (once more).
2. They built their churches throughout this land and worshipped God in love. They declared this truth, self-evident, that God looked down from above. The churches and schools went hand-in-hand and taught their children to pray. I wonder now where it all went wrong, just where we went astray.
(Chorus)
3. We're still one nation under God, no matter what some say. We have compromised with evil men and let them lead us astray. We've got to turn back to God right now and let Him heal our land. He's calling now ev'ry child of His to repent and take a stand.
(Chorus)
