I have never posted a blog before so I thought I would give this test blog a try. It is going to cover my last two weeks or so.

Two or three fridays ago I was drving on the highway on the way home. My old '87 Chevy Caviler has had a knock for quit some time. It got a bit louder then normal like it does when it needs more oil. So my thought was tomorrow morning I will stop on my way to work to get oil. About that time it blew. So I pulled of the highway. I called my uncle to pick me up cause he was closer to where I was then my parents. I then called my parents to tell them I would be late getrting home and why. Not but five minutes after I got off the phone a firetruck pulls up and asks me to pop my hood. I did so and there was a small oil fire. (when I say small I mean it was small enough that the fire man spit on it to put it out. ) So the next day I have to have my parents drive me to work.

The next week was youth camp. There is only one way to describe camp this year and that is the BEST SUMMER CAMP I HAVE BEEN TO!!!!!!!! I don't know if you have ever heard Brother Steve Piggot but he is the best camp speaker I have ever heard. He keeps your attention by his humor. He uses his humor is his sermon. I mean he tells a funny story and then uses that as his illustration and uses it to keep your attention. About Wednesday or Thursday I felt God leading me to ask him if next summer I could travel with him for a little while. He said that I could email him my desire and he would pray about it. So I am praying that God will set things up there.

Now as for this week I get home and start worrying about my whole car situation. There was a guy at my church that had been looking. Here was a situation. I had to work so much I did not have much of a chance to go look myself. But he told me sunday that he thought he had found one that he was going to go test drive it on Monday. I said ok call and let me know what you think about it. He called and told my dad that is was a great car, a 95 Mercury Cougar with less than 26,000 miles. He explained the story of why it had so few miles and told me to go look at it asap cause it would not stay there very long. So Tuesday I called my real dad and asked him if I could borrow $400 cause that is what I was short. He gave me the money and my step-dad and I went and looked at the car. It is in great shape. We agreed to buy the car so on friday we are going to go have the title put in my name and pay him for the car and then things will be awesome. I know that God gave me a great deal on a great car.

Just another teen that wishes he knew it all.
