Well, I just got back from music camp...I sure do miss... ... ... uh, it.

There is a young man 10 or 11 years old in our junior church class. My heart aches for him. He was born into a Christian family, but for whatever reason, he has enough anger and bitterness in his heart to satisfy the needs of an 80 year old unsaved man. He is rapidly heading toward a collision course with either violence or drugs/alcohol.

His mom has some pretty serious health issues, but the anger pre-dates that by about 4 years. Yes, he has always been angry and rebellious. I remember him...

I recently got an email from an American friend down in Haikou where we used to live. There is a Chinese couple there named Brian and Carrie. When we first moved there, they weren't dating or anything, but while we lived there they started dating and got married and now have one baby girl. They're a very solid couple - believers, both excellent in English and had good jobs - especially her working for the government somehow.
