Please help get bibles to Madagascar!!!

Bible Senders was recently informed about a great opportunity to send bibles to Madagascar. Madagascar has over 20 million people and is considered a 4th world country. The government overthere wants to the people to learn English. A missionary in that country has a chance to get into the schools to teach the children English and wants KJV bibles to do so. I have been talking with several people involved in bible ministry. They all seem to say the same things The Baptist Church is dead. Why do we not get excited about getting the word of God to people in need. About 6 months ago I contacted around 100 churches in Minnesota. All I asked was that the church would be willing to collect used bibles from their members. Guess how many postive repsonses I have gotten 1 or 2. One church said they already did something similiar(PTL) The other sounded interested...

I love my students...

Monday was student orientation for my September classes. I spent the evening gettting to know each of my eight students. They are all so different in their own ways. But they all love to learn and almost all of them love to interact.

Last night was my first night of regular classes for this month. I kept two of my classes from the first month, since August was a kind of breaking-in period. I love getting to know each of the kids and the friendships that I am able to build...

Eye To Eye And Faith To Face

This is a message I tackled last week at the Gospel Mission. I was intrigued by a phrase in Isaiah, which reminded me of other similar phrases - and it turned into a neat message (at least to me). I added more verses to flesh this study out.

1) Eye To Eye

Isaiah 52:8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again...

While I can only understand a few words. This is a 2 minute video of a guy in the Philippines talking about how he prepares to witness using tracts. The great thing is that most of the tracts he is using we were able to donate to him. It is exciting to see how something God allowed to to send to someone is being used. God bless. :)
