Online Baptist

I stayed home yesterday morning. Thought I would get some sleep while she took one of her famous 3 hour morning naps. No 3 hour nap. She only slept 1 hour. I may as well have gone to church. The only thing is, I haven't had a decent night's sleep in so long I couldn't open my eyes for the longest time. Last night at church was pretty rough.

The others all went through a time of not sleeping on Saturday nights, too.

The blessings of the Lord are fresh and new everyday, and today is of course no different. Today I start this new project of praising God daily online. I also look forward to hearing from others who would like to "brag on God".
This morning was nice because I got to talk to my wife and got to say bedtime prayers with my children. The Lord used this to remind me this morning that my time with my children is not only special but fleeting. Before I deployed, I would say prayers with...

Jesus healed on a Sunday! NO WAY! Today as I was reading John chapter five a question swept through my head nagging me to answer it. A question I had never really thought of. I read verse fifteen and then went on to verse sixteen because it is always pratical to go to the next verse but anyways I noticed that although Jesus healed the lame man by the pool of Bethesda, the Jews persecuted him because Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath.
