Jesus healed on a Sunday! NO WAY! Today as I was reading John chapter five a question swept through my head nagging me to answer it. A question I had never really thought of. I read verse fifteen and then went on to verse sixteen because it is always pratical to go to the next verse but anyways I noticed that although Jesus healed the lame man by the pool of Bethesda, the Jews persecuted him because Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath. I asked myself the question, would I have done the same?...

Action on Online Baptist goes in spurts. Some weeks things are moving along, while other days things go slow. Right now we are in the slow time. Usually during these slow times it is the calm before the storm. So hang on to your seats OB, before a newbie comes and stirs things up. :lol:

As for my personal life, we are finalizing things for our Tennessee/Kentucky trip in August. I'm looking forward to preaching...

We started school early this year. No reason not to start. I have all of my books and my kids start getting bored about this time every summer. We are just easing in to the year, of course. We are going through Proverbs for Bible using Wellsprings of Life by Donald Orthner. It's basically Proverbs put into subject categories. The kids seem to be enjoying it. I've been very good about keeping my spaces blog updated, but not so good about this one.

I'm reading the Sermon on the Mount right now. I thought that I would like to read it in one sitting. :roll Not gonna happen. I'm going to finish it tonight, and then start on it again. There is so much good stuff in that sermon that there is no way I should have thought to read it at once.
