I was sure that was an open door! by Timothy on May 20th, 2008, 10:49 pm
I had an amusing experience. Mind you, at the time it wasn't very funny, but for now I can look back and just say thank God because He is still there directing my ways.

I would rather not share the whole experience, but I wanted to share just how stupid even I am when it comes to direction. You know, sometimes even the smallest of decisions can affect us is such amazingly great ways, and I knew that this tiny little decision would probably grow into something of great proportions which I didn't...

Busy, Busy, Busy
You know, it's kind of funny. A few months ago, I was talking about how busy I was trying to get everything in order with college. Sure, I'll admit, it was kind of stressful trying to make sure I did everything at the right time in order to start my online classes and get my exams done. But my word, that was nothing!

I just started attending a weekly Bible study at a church nearby. Currently, we're studying 1 Corinthians. The subject of redemption came up this last Wednesday, and oh my cow did the teacher do a great job!

The street near our college is not known for holding the "best company". It is a common place to find ladies-of-the-night. The teacher told us that if we were to really grasp the redemption of God, then we should go and just watch one of those poor women for 5 minutes. But for the...

Moving day by matie-k on July 29th, 2007, 4:59 am
Moving day is tomorrow. I dread moving so much, but I sure am glad to be moving to our new place! For the first time since moving to China, we'll have walls that are a color other than white and also carpet in the bedrooms. This is the first time that we'll be living in a place that we fixed up ourselves, and it's going to be a pleasure to live where all the decor is hand picked by us! Happy moving day! I'm off to pack. Here's some before and after pictures. The apartment...
