This is something alot of people dont pay attention, Jesus did preach, he preached alot, and I believe in my own way, He preach more then the Bible has recorded it (forgot what verse it was, but it said if every one wrote the life story of Jesus, the Bible AND THE WORLD couldnt handle it all). So with that verse said, I believe that He preached more then the Bible shows, the reason the Bible gives the things he preached on, is that those are the ones he wants us to know more then anything else. But any ways, Jesus preached on Heaven, but this is the shocking thing, Jesus preached on Hell more! Here we have Pastors and preachers now these days, preach on lovely-dovely sermons, and that is wrong, saying everything is ok, when everything IS NOT OK! Look around, the world is a mess! So in my believes and view, I am a Hell fire and brimstone preacher, I attack sin, not the people.

In a way....... true........ but there is more, to be a great Soul Winner and preacher, one verse can only go so far, you have to have other sources also (like more verses to back it up or a life experience). Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! Very easy Bible verse to remember. For whosoever shall confess with the mouth and believe in the heart, will be saved. We can never reach perfection, God knows we still have sin nature in us, therefore, we come short of the glory of God, but with Jesus blood that wash our sins away AFTER we accept Christ, we start over, and also, any sin afterwards, is forgiven, but we still have sin nature in us all. Other Baptist believe you have to be baptizited to be part of being saved, that is wrong. Going under the water just means in an outward way, that you accept Christ in the inward way, showwing others you believe the life, bury, and raised from the dead.

how about Once saved always save, does every one believe that? Jesus said im Matthew 5:48 That we are to be perfect, even as our Father in Heaven is perfect. Jesus, constantly preached worthyness and how to be worthy. He never said once you call upon my name your guarented Heaven.

First chapter of Revelations talks about the author, John, and who told him what to write. The second and third chapters are about the churchs, and fourth chapter and so on talks about the future. Right now my Pastor is preaching on this book and we just got finish with the first two chapters (and read carefully in the first chapter, any one that reads, listen and etc the book of Revelations, will be blessed by God). The number 7, a new born Christian understands what the number 7 means, perfection, completeness, whole, Holy, and so forth.

John was never sent up to Heaven, he was never killed, he was boiled in oil, but that didnt kill him. God had a purpose for him. If you read the NT, John was Jesus best and closest friend of all, Jesus trusted John with his own life, Jesus also trusted John to take care of his mother (Mary). And John trusted in Jesus, believe with his whole heart Jesus was the Savior. John would gave his life up for Jesus. When all 12 followers wasnt there for Jesus, John was (there is a total of 13, but we know the story that one of them betray Jesus). John even stood at Jesus feet when he was hanged on the cross, that alone could got John killed, but John didnt care, he wanted to be with his best, most trusted friend, even if it meant his own life. Now John was casted to an island, because they couldnt kill him in oil. And God had a plan for John. Revelation (not Revelation(s), there is no "s" on the end, but so many people do it any ways) means the reveil of Jesus. Now Jesus himself doesnt know when he is allowed back, only God knows that (we know Jesus is part of God, but I am talking the Head of God, the Father), only he knows when Jesus will be allowed back. But God use the Holy Spirit to give the information to Jesus to give to John what will take place in the future. John was never sent up to Heaven and back. Only 2 people, both of them in OT, was brought to Heaven, and never had to suffer a physical death.

I might not be the best person to explain this. I am only a 6 year old Christian, been a preacher for 2 years, and having went to college yet to become a Youth Pastor.... but I will try to explain as best as I can, if any one else see that I am wrong, please correct me. To my understanding in the King James Version (KJV Bible), there is only one rapture, and to my understanding, the word "rapture" isnt in the Bible at all. There have been some agruments about Elija, there is also one other person God took off this planet and brought him home early, cant think of the name, but its in the first book of Moses (Genesis) and he was the son of Adam and Eve, or grandson of Adam and Eve. People believe these 2 people are the witness that are to come back when all the Christians leave the Earth. But that is a different matter, that is the information about Elija I know and what he purpose "could be" with the world coming to an end.

God can call people up into heaven as often as he pleases but I only read four in the Bible.
christian
September 3rd, 2008, 1:29 pm
Elija was rapture into heaven, St. John was raptured into heaven in Revelation but he came back. In luke it sais pray always that you are counted worthy to get out of all these horrors, that is the first end times rapture. It is also found in REV.3:10 The second rapture is at the last trumpet (according to 1st COR.) and there are seven trum, pets in revelation. In matthew 24 the second rapture happens at the IMMIDIATELY after the tribulation when the angels are sent to gather the Elect.

Has the rapture, Jesus will be coming to the Earth once, when the Bible says he will come and meet us in the sky, it clearly states "in the clouds" so in other words, he didnt land on the Earth, but when he does come back after the 7 years, then He will place His feet on the Earth as His "return"

There will be only one rapture, and in the Bible (King James Version; KJV), the word "rapture" isnt in the Bible.
