RE: holster says hello
Hello, holster. I just thought that I would give you a belated "HELLO" from me. lol I have enjoyed reading your posts.
Your 'neck of the words' is breathtaking. What a gorgeous part of the USA. I look forward to posting with you. May God continue to bless you, yours, and your church family. In Christ Jesus ~ Molly Luke 8:16... No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. I came from the east coast of NC and overall the scenery there is much more "pleasing" to the eye. Here there are lot's of cattlemen and farms (growing grass's such as hay, alfalfa, etc) with lot's of "junk" layin' around. There also seems to be plenty of "falling down" metal buildings and lot's of "junkyards." But almost all "distant" views are breathtaking. So there is no in-between. When you do see beauty it almost takes your breath away. The best thing about this area is the people. Down to earth.. honest.. hard working.. loving... caring... I love the people! |

I didn't think that places like that existed anymore. lol God bless, Molly |

An older couple in my church were hit. The sheriff got the thieves pretty quickly though. Another thing I like about this area is that it's mostly conservative people and almost every vehicle on the road has several weapons in it either for hunting or protection! |

RE: holster says hello
I can see people doing what you said to the pastors homes. In my area they break into churches. ALL of them - regardless, of who they are and what they stand for. And, families call many of the churches during Thanksgiving to get the fruitbaskets that we make. Once they have made there rounds with the churches? They 'hit up' the synagogues and the mosques. It is really pitiiful... considering we have had the 'City Mission' in my area - active for many years. Also, a few years back at a Roman Catholic Church - we had a deacon murder the priest.
Conservative and weapons? 'YES' - I would clearly love Southwest Colorado. Amen. God bless, Molly |

RE: holster says hello
Greg, Linda and I did get a bit close to where your now at on our motorcycle trip in 92. Pagosa Springs, stopped there and I believe Linda and I ate dinner. I believe someone in the restaurant heard the comment I was from Arkansas and asked me what I thought of Bill Clinton. They kind of frowned at me when I stated I hope he is not our next president, but it would be nice to get him our of Arkansas, the rest is in the history books.
Welcome back and hope your ministry at Cortez will go pleasantly. In His Service, Jerry It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8 "Jesus is your only hope!" |
